Duplicated content
[edit]The whole content here has been taken verbatim from Electrostatic nuclear accelerator, even including the literal numbering of the references (which themselves initially were not copied, and now only one of two is). In the initial commit, this was not indicated, and so this doesn't show the attribution to the initial creators, which perhaps is allowed by the GFDL, but not proper. Further, having nearly the same content in two places is probably not productive. The only justification would be if the specific page on tandem accelerators presented the matter in more detail than the general page on accelerators, but this is not the case. On the one hand I do not see anybody that will significantly add to this page here in the medium term (or is there?), and on the other I do not see that the section on tandem accelerators is large out of proportion on the electrostatic nuclear accelerator page. So it seems that this page should be deleted after incorporating the few improvements (wikifications) back into the original page. Seattle Jörg (talk) 10:51, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
